Our
Objective

Hello Crescent Community,

Crescent Public Schools had a little under 600 students in attendance as the 2023-2024 school year came to an end, and our lunch program had a left over negative balance. Unfortunately with the rise in food prices we have had many families unable to afford lunch and they don’t qualify for the free reduced lunch program. This has been a concern for many families in our town. Although, if a student has a negative balance they still receive the same lunch as one who doesn’t.

As of August 2024 the Crescent School Board has had to raise the cost of meals to $3.50.

We are partnering up with our school and asking our community to help our children and school by donating to the “Child Nutrition Account” We aim to relieve families in our community of lunch debts.

Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in the lives of families in the community.

Checks can be made out to “Crescent Public Schools” please specify it’s for Child Nutrition.
